Grade I should get

I at least should get an eighty five. Mainly because I don't have one blog post but everytime I do it it either won't show up nor save. I checked my garmmar and i seem to have it right but everyone makes mistakes. I may have a few problems here and there but I should at least get an A.

Air Mass

2. Which one brings your favorite kind of weather?I like maritmie tropical air mass because it brings precepitation and I like the rain.

3. List 5 things that you like to do in that kind of weather. Run in the rain, stand in the rain, play in the rain, look at the rain, and go to sleep listening to the rain.

Types of science

My favorite topic in Geology was the different types of rock forms. Especialy Igneous rocks and how they are formed by volcanoes. There are two different types of Igneous rocks. There is Intrusive, which forms from magma, and Extrusive ,which forms from lava.

My favorite section for Meteorology it would be the fronts. This is my favorite because there isn't just two different fronts. There is cold front, warm front, and stationary front. Cold front

On the x-axis goes from hot to cold. On the y-axis it goes from dim to bright.

Astronomy

A black Hole is when a star reaches it's infinite density. The light can't escape after this happens and because of the intense garvity it has. It is 20 to 15 times bigger than the sun. You may see this in movies like Star Wars where they go in the big light thing. It doesn't do anything at all though. It traps things if they areto close.
A worm hole is a shortcut through space and time. It has two mouths and one throat. Going through this will make you go through the universe faster than light can. Einstein beleived in the worm hole also gave the idea of it. It connects parts of the universe.
Saturn was found by Galileo Galilei. The ring was found by Christann Huyges. The ring was made out of small particles.

Effecting Wind

1. What 3 factors effect wind?There is pressure diferences, Coriolis effect, and Friction



2. Which of the 3 do you think has the greatest effect? Why? Coriolis effect because the reason of the rotation is from the Earth and you van't really go against the Eath



3. What would happen if this factor (from #2) all of a sudden stopped? That would mean the Earth would stop rotating so our weather woud be the same.

Cloudy

For low clouds there is Stratus, Nimbostratus, and cumulus clouds. For middle there is Alto cumulus and Altostratus. For high clouds there is cirrocumulus, cirrostratus, and cirrus. For vertical clouds the main one is cumulonimbuscloud. My favorite one would be nimbostratus. This brings rainy weather.

Green House Effect

What is the greenhouse effect?
It traps rays from the Sun on Earth.

They are water vapor, carbon dioxide and nitrogen.
How are the greenhouse gases produced?
It is produced by CO2 emitions.
How does the greenhouse effect impact our lives?
It makes the Earth in use for living.
Is the greenhouse effect good or bad? Why?
It is bad because it makes the Earth hotter.

Offshore Drilling

Offshore drilling is when you drill in th ocean for oil. What is good a bout this is the fact thatit givesmore resource for us.The down fall is the fact that oil doesn't last forever. Another thing is that it can injure or kill animals. Also make the beaches look bad. I think we should stop looking for oil and start thinking about stuff that can help animals and nature.

Whate Grade Should I Get

The grade I should get is at least a B. Mainly because I have all my blogs and they are all answered. There is probably one or two that I fluffed up n but that's the truth. As far as I can rememberI have been doing what I had to do. At least a B will be fine with me.

Recycle

Paper is good to recycle because it helps the trees. It also saves ener Plastic makes a lot of things that we need. We save a lot if we recycle plastic.
When you recycle glass it saves fuel oil.
Also when you recycle metal we save 95% of energy.
Recycling because it saves money for you and the economy.
They can find a near y recycling area and instead of throwing away trash put them in recycling bins.

2.What is the 1st article about? It is about a flood at the gulf of mecico. It mainly talks about the rescue team. Also the 22 people they failed to get.
3.What is the 2nd article about? It is about a launch off at space that russia and u.s.a. were about to do. They delayed dew to hirricane ike.
4.Wich is most disasterous? The article "sea floods texas" seems more dangerous.
5.Compare and contras the 2 articles. They both have problems because of water and they are different because one is on land and the other is in space

Where is the earthquake closes to N.C.?

It would be in Missouri.

The most recent earthquake i chose was the one in northern California. It happen at 5:40 a.m. The depth of the earthquake is 3.8 miles.

Crystals

There are six types of crystal forms. there is cubic,tetragonal, hexagonal, orthorhomic, monoclinic, and triclinic. Every crystal has its own distinctive shape. This helps us identify what type the crystal is.

Renewable Resouces

My opinion on what is the best renewable resouce would be the sun. Solar power is great because once you get pass the exspensive equipment, you get energy for free. Another good thing is if it is connected to your house and an outside electric box for neighbors to get energy. If you are sombody who barely use enegy that means it gives out to your neighbors. Then you can get paid for your energy. Now even though you lost money you gain money in the longrun eventually.

Map Projection

My favorite map projection would be Robinson because it seems the most accurate than the others. Text books seem to use it based on this format. It seems to be the most popular and to be well known.

Oceanography

Oceanogrophy interested me because I love the ocean. I don't know much about it and that's why it interests me. I would like to know how the ocean functions. Also how it move and why it moves certain way. That's is why oceanography interests me.
